The purpose of evaluating workshop sessions is to determine or judge
the value of the sessions. Evaluation can focus on a variety of facets
including: participants’ perceptions of their experiences and outcomes,
correlation between expectations and results, quality of materials such
as handouts and presentations and potential for application of session
content in local setting.
Different evaluation forms or tools will be used to assess the variety of components that comprise a successful workshop experience. Sample evaluation documents are provided.
